Kraken Prop is a proprietary trading program built into Kraken Pro that lets you trade crypto using funded capital, without risking your own money on funded accounts.
Here's how it works: you purchase an evaluation, prove your trading skills by hitting a profit target while staying within risk limits, and then graduate to a funded account where you keep up to 90% of the profits you generate.
Kraken Prop follows a simple two-stage model:
Stage 1: Evaluation You purchase an evaluation account and trade with a simulated balance. Your goal is to reach the profit target for your plan without violating the risk rules (Maximum Daily Loss and Maximum Drawdown). There is no time limit, take as long as you need.
Stage 2: Funded Account Once you pass your evaluation, you're upgraded to a funded account. You'll need to complete identity verification on Kraken and sign a Funded Trader Agreement. After activation, you trade with real funded capital and can request payouts of your share of the profits.
