Vouchers on Kraken Pro

What is a Voucher?

Vouchers are a new type of reward you can earn on Kraken Pro. Unlike cash or crypto rewards, a Voucher gives you a specific benefit tied to a Kraken product — for example, a funded evaluation account or protection against a trading loss. Vouchers can't be withdrawn; instead, you redeem their benefit directly.

Voucher types currently available

Voucher	What you get
Prop Evaluation Voucher	A funded Prop Evaluation account (amount set by the specific offer).
Futures Loss Protection Voucher	A rebate (up to the amount set by the offer) if your next closed, or partially closed, Futures position results in a loss. The rebate is paid to your Spot wallet in USD.

Where to find your Vouchers

Open the Rewards Hub in Kraken Pro Mobile and go to the Vouchers screen. Your current Vouchers appear under the Active tab; used, redeemed, or expired Vouchers move to the History tab.

Claiming a Voucher

Some Vouchers are awarded automatically once you complete the offer's conditions (if any), you'll see a status like Paid out and can start using the benefit right away.

Other Vouchers must be claimed. If a Voucher requires claiming, you'll see a Claim now or Claim your voucher button on the card. Tap it to activate your Voucher. You'll also get an email when a Voucher is ready to claim.

Voucher expiry

Vouchers can have two separate time limits:

Claim window: the time you have to claim the Voucher before it expires unclaimed.
Benefit window: the time you have to use the Voucher's benefit (for example, close a Futures position) once it's active.

Not every Voucher has both. Check the details on the Voucher card and in your notification emails for the specific dates that apply to your offer.

Notifications

You'll receive an email when:

you're awarded a Voucher,
a Voucher is ready to be claimed (with a countdown to the claim deadline),
you don't claim a Voucher in time, and
a Voucher's benefit has been paid out.

Frequently asked questions

Can I withdraw a Voucher as cash or crypto?

No. Vouchers are non-withdrawable, they only unlock the specific benefit described in the offer.

What happens if I don't claim my Voucher in time?

The Voucher expires and moves to your History tab. It can no longer be claimed.

I closed a Futures position at a loss — where's my rebate?

You'll receive an email confirming the rebate, and your Voucher will move to the History tab. The rebate is paid to your Spot wallet.

Is this available on Consumer or Pro Web?

Not yet. Vouchers are currently available on Kraken Pro Mobile only. Support for other platforms is planned for a future release.
