How do I send and receive crypto with Kraken Wallet?

Sending and receiving crypto or NFTs is simple with Kraken Wallet. This guide will explain the different options available to you.

Before you begin:

Check out this article to ensure the asset or network you want to transact with is supported by Kraken Wallet.

How to receive crypto and NFTs

Open the Kraken Wallet app.

Tap the Receive button on the home screen.

Identify which address you want to copy or share, depending on the asset you wish to receive. Your Ethereum and Solana addresses can receive crypto and NFTs, while your Bitcoin and Dogecoin addresses can receive crypto only (BTC and DOGE, respectively).

Copy or Share the wallet address. To copy an address, tap anywhere on the address row. To share an address, tap the QR code symbol and then tap the Share button.

Alternatively, you can also copy or share your wallet address by tapping on a specific asset in your wallet, then tapping the Receive button at the bottom of the screen.

When selecting an asset, be sure to verify which network it's on. Please be aware that some assets are available on multiple networks.

How to send crypto

Open the Kraken Wallet app.

Tap the Send button on the home screen.

On the Send to screen, enter the wallet address or ENS name for your recipient. You can also tap the camera icon to scan the recipient’s unique QR code.

On the Send asset screen, select the asset you wish to send.

Next, enter the amount you wish to send. You can toggle between the native asset (e.g., BTC) or your local currency (e.g., USD).

Next, review or select a Network fee. Then tap Continue.

Carefully review the prepared transaction on the Confirm Send sheet. Once you are ready to send, tap Confirm.

Alternatively, you can send any asset in your wallet by tapping on the asset and then tapping the Send button at the bottom of the screen. You will then enter the necessary details, including Amount and Sending to, before confirming the transaction.

How to send NFTs

Open the Kraken Wallet app and scroll down to the NFTs section.

Find the specific NFT that you wish to send and tap the View all button to see all NFTs you own.
You may choose to use the network filters to make finding your NFT easier. You can also toggle to the Collections list to find a specific collection, then tap it to view your NFT(s)

Tap on the NFT to open a detailed view of your item.

Tap the Send button at the bottom of the screen.

Enter the Sending to address or ENS domain. You can also tap the camera icon to scan the recipient’s unique QR code.

Next, review or select a Network fee. Then tap Continue.
