A Personal account with higher limits is the highest verification level available and includes the following benefits:

Further increases to your deposit & withdrawal limits.

Access to Kraken’s Over-the-Counter trading desk.

Higher API limits.

You may need a Personal account with higher limits if:

•
You would like to create an account on behalf of a third party.
•
You intend to use this account as a reseller of digital assets as a business.

To open a Personal account with higher limits (or upgrade your existing verified account):

On pro.kraken.com (Kraken Pro)

Please create a personal account on Kraken Pro, if you have not done so already.

Complete the first verification process.

On Kraken Pro:

Navigate to your profile icon in the upper right corner of the page, and then select Settings. Under the Account details section, click Get higher limits.

Once you apply for higher limits, you will typically receive a response from our onboarding team within 0-2 business days. Please note additional processing time may be required to approve your application, subject to additional information or documentation that may be requested.
