Kraken will be migrating MakerDAO (MKR) to Sky Protocol (SKY) as part of a network-wide upgrade. All MKR balances will be automatically converted to SKY. After the migration, MKR will be delisted from Kraken.
September 1, 2025 at 14 UTC: MKR trading and funding paused
Conversion rate: 1 MKR = 24,000 SKY
September 5, 2025: SKY credited to accounts and trading/funding resumes
You don’t need to take any action. Your MKR balance will automatically be converted to SKY at the rate of 1 MKR : 24,000 SKY.
MKR trading and funding will be paused starting September 1 at 14 UTC.
Once migration is complete, SKY balances will appear in your account and trading/funding will resume by the end of day September 5.
After migration, MKR will be delisted from Kraken.
