Please note: XRP Account Delete transfers are not supported on our platform. Attempting transactions using this method may result in delays or complications.
When you generate an XRP deposit address for your Kraken account, a unique and mandatory ‘Destination Tag’ is also generated.
The Destination Tag is used to determine what account a deposit should be assigned and credited to. This is because all Kraken accounts share a single XRP deposit address:
rLHzPsX6oXkzU2qL12kHCH8G8cnZv1rBJh
The Destination Tag is ten numbers long and must be included with all XRP deposits to your Kraken account. An example XRP Destination Tag is:
0123456789
Always ensure to include the correct Destination Tag before sending your XRP deposit.
WARNING: Forgetting to include the Destination Tag will lead to significant delays in crediting the deposit to your account, and might even make the deposit irretrievable in certain cases. If you forgot the tag submit a support ticket here.
