Transferring funds to your Derivatives wallet

Transferring to and from Derivatives Wallets

To trade on the Kraken Pro UI you will need to transfer funds from your spot wallet directly to your Derivatives wallet.

Note: Only the multi-collateral derivatives wallet is available on Pro.

Transfer funds from the Spot Wallet to the Derivatives Wallet

Navigate to the Portfolio tab and then click Derivatives.

Click the ‘Transfer to Derivatives’ button.

Choose the currency you wish to transfer and then enter the amount you wish to transfer. Make sure it meets our minimums.

Click on ‘Preview Transfer’ to review the transfer details and then click ‘Confirm Transfer’.

Once submitted, you will see a green notification at the bottom right of the screen with your transfer details.

After a few seconds your funds will be in your Derivatives account and you are ready to start trading.

Transfer funds from the Derivatives Wallet to Kraken Spot

Navigate to the Portfolio tab and then click Derivatives.

Click the ‘Transfer to Spot’ button
•
Choose the currency you wish to transfer and then enter the amount you wish to transfer. Make sure it meets our minimums.

Click on ‘Preview Transfer’ to review the transfer details and then click ‘Confirm Transfer’.

Once submitted you will see the pop up and after a few seconds your funds will be in your Spot wallet.

Transfer Minimums

Transfers between spot and Derivatives are free, seamless, and typically take less than 10 seconds to complete.

Note: These minimums only apply for transfers between spot and Derivatives.
