Signing in with your email

You can now use your email address to sign in to Kraken!

We understand that remembering usernames can sometimes be a hassle, and we want to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. This update will simplify the sign-in process, reduce the chances of forgetting usernames, and make accessing your Kraken account quicker than ever before.

This feature is automatically enabled for new accounts and accounts that did not have a Global Settings Lock (GSL) enabled as of June 21st, 2023.

If you prefer to continue signing in with your username only and restrict the new email sign-in option, we've got you covered! Simply follow these steps to change your sign-in method back to how it was before:

    Sign in to your Kraken account.

    Navigate to your security settings.

  3. 3

    Toggle the sign-in method to Username only.

This feature is turned on by default.

    Click on the profile icon in the top right corner of your screen.

    Navigate to Security.

    Toggle the sign-in method from Username only to Email address and username.
