Import a wallet to Kraken Wallet

You can import a recovery phrase wallet using a valid 12-, 18-, or 24-word BIP-39 recovery phrase.

Anyone with your recovery phrase can control your funds. Enter it only in the official Kraken Wallet app. Kraken Support will never ask for it.

    Open Kraken Wallet and tap Get Started.

    Select Import Existing Wallet.

  3. 3

    Select Enter Recovery Phrase.

  4. 4

    Enter the recovery phrase in the correct order.

  5. 5

    Review the detected wallet and continue.

    Secure Kraken Wallet with your device authentication.

Alternatively you can restore your seed phrase from Cloud Backup (Apple iCloud or Google Drive) by selecting Restore Cloud Backup.

    Open Kraken Wallet and go to Settings.

    Tap Add Wallet.

    Tap Import Existing Wallet.

    Enter the recovery phrase in the correct order.

    Review the detected accounts and finish the import.

Importing another recovery phrase does not replace your existing wallets. Kraken Wallet keeps each imported recovery phrase as a separate seed phrase wallet group.
