InterFin funding provider
Prevent deposit delays
If required and shown in the deposit instructions, make sure your deposit includes a reference to your Kraken Public account ID which starts with AA and is 16 characters long.

Requirements
  • Your Kraken account must be verified to the Pro Business level.
  • Your bank or financial institution must be under the same legal name as your Kraken account.
Funding method
InterFIN deposits are processed via
instant transfer
between your account with our funding provider, our account and your Kraken account. Transfers through InterFIN are near-instantaneous, but may require additional processing time to settle between all parties.
How to apply?
If you would like to apply for access to InterFIN funding:

    Submit a request here.

    Under the dropdown What type of issue are you experiencing select Other.
  3. 3
    In the next dropdown enter your email address and your chosen currency (CAD). You will need to specify that you would like to access InterFIN funding.

    Once your request has been submitted our support team will reach out with further information.
After you submit your application, you will be invited to apply for a custodial account with our funding provider if all criteria is met. Once you have an account with our funding provider, we will be able to activate the InterFIN transfer method on your Kraken account.
What if I don't have a business account?
If you do not already have a business account with us, we welcome you to either convert your existing Kraken account to a business account if applicable, or create a separate business account. Please note that you can only create a business Kraken account in the name of a business you own or control.
