In June 2023, the DYDX governance community voted to migrate the ERC20 based DYDX token from the Ethereum blockchain to the new dYdX Chain, while launched in November 2023.
We're supporting this migration on behalf of Kraken clients.
What's changing?
On December 12, 2024 we will convert all ERC20 DYDX on Kraken to native DYDX on the dYdX Chain, at a conversion rate of 1:1.
What's next?
At 9:00 AM UTC on December 12, 2024:
- •We will disable withdrawals for ERC20 DYDX.
- •We will enable deposits and withdrawals for native DYDX on the dYdX Chain.
- •All DYDX markets (DYDX/USD, DYDX/EUR, DYDX Perp) will continue to trade as usual on Kraken.
Please note that ERC20 DYDX deposits will remain available until further notice.
