As part of Kraken’s regulatory compliance effort, we are required to perform a suitability assessment for each and every one of our clients’ trades, and inform them if we believe a trade is not suitable for them. We base our assessment on each client’s profile, their answers to certain investment-related questions, as well as their trading behavior and history.
How does this impact me?
If we determine that an order you place is not suitable for you, we will notify you with an additional pop-up, prompting you to review your trade. We strongly recommend that you carefully consider whether you still want to proceed with the trade. If you would like to proceed, you may do so by selecting the Continue anyway button on the popup. If you decide you want to forgo the trade, simply click the Cancel button.
