Customizing technical analysis tools
Kraken Desktop is currently in a private beta. If you have been granted early access, you would have received an email invitation. If you haven’t received an email, you can join our waitlist here.
Adjusting Kraken Desktop’s visual style options can improve the clarity of your overlays and indicators.
Input options and styles can be adjusted using the Edit Analysis menu, or directly from the chart.
Edit analysis menu
  1. 1
First start by clicking the Technical Analysis button on the top right of your Chart module.
  2. 2
This will open the Edit Analysis menu, where you will see your current indicators listed. Click the arrow to the left of an indicator's name to open the customization settings.
  3. 3
You will now see all of the customizable elements of that indicator, and as you adjust these elements, they will automatically update on your chart.
From the chart
On the top of the right hand corner for each indicator, you will see a settings button. (Furthest to the right)
Settings
Clicking this button will open the customization settings to the right of the Chart module, where you can adjust colors and inputs for the individual indicator.
You will also notice other buttons used for making the indicator fullscreen, hiding it, or up/down arrows to move the indicator's location.
Here are some examples of customizable elements:
  • Line thickness.
  • Show/hide certain elements.
  • Change the color of any element.
  • Change the source of data.
  • Fill colors, and much more!

Adjusting placement on the chart

Indicators that appear in the Chart module don’t have to stack below it — you can rearrange indicators using the Edit Analysis menu, or by clicking the arrows on the right side of the indicator.

Simply drag and drop the indicators in the order you wish for them to appear on the chart, from top to bottom. As you adjust the placement of indicators, they will automatically switch on the chart for you.
