Trade holds
Purchasing cryptocurrencies with credit cards or via ACH online banking will trigger a trade hold for the transacting user. This will prevent NFT trade activity (purchases, sales and offers) for a period of 72 hours, for enhanced security.
The below information will provide you with how to manage offers received (as a seller) and offers sent (as a buyer).
Managing offers you have received
- You can manage offers you have received by navigating to the Offers tab in the menu next to My NFTs.
- Any NFT custodied on Kraken can receive offers regardless of whether it has a sale price or not.
- You will be able to view all received offers on your NFTs in the Selling table.
- To manage large numbers of NFTs you can make use of filters to filter received offers by Collection, Chain or Date. Once you have selected your preferred parameters click the Filter button.
- You can respond to received offers in two ways. You can accept the offer, in which case you get the offered amount of currency and the other party receives the NFT. To do this click the Accept button for the respective NFT on the right side of the table. You will need to confirm your acceptance.
- If you think the offer is not high enough but you’re interested in further negotiating with potential buyers, you can also counter their offer by offering them a price you deem acceptable. Counter offers are very similar to standard offers.
Click the counter button and enter your desired currency and price as well as when the counter-offer should start and end. Then enter “CONFIRM” and press Sell at the bottom of the page.
Managing offers you have made
- You can manage offers you have made by navigating to the Offers tab in the menu next to My NFTs. Then select Buying.
- You can view offers you have made on NFTs in the Buying table.
Filters for this table work the same as for the Selling table, but you can also filter offers you sent by their status, e.g. open or closed.
- To cancel an offer you sent click the Cancel button for the respective NFT on the right side of the table and click Confirm.
