Kraken Terminal is a free professional trading terminal available to all Kraken clients. The interface is derived from the Kraken property, Cryptowatch, our premium trading terminal. 

Cryptowatch provides real-time cryptocurrency market data, alerting, charting and trading services for over 25 cryptocurrency exchanges. Kraken Terminal provides a similar trading experience, but does not include all of Cryptowatch’s premium features. Trading on Kraken Terminal is also limited to Kraken markets only.

Kraken Terminal’s main feature is its highly customizable charts — you can use different chart styles, overlays, indicators and drawing tools to interpret every market on Kraken. 

You can also set browser alerts for price, volume or special technical analysis alerts and have your trades and orders displayed directly on the chart.

Here is the default view you see when you first go to Kraken Terminal:

You can hide the order book, depth chart and trading panels by clicking the vertical bars to the left of each section:

Another useful feature of Kraken Terminal is the ability to visualize your past trades or current open orders directly on the chart. Buy orders will be displayed as a green dot and sell orders as a red dot (these colors may change upon selecting a new theme). 

Hover over a past-trade dot to see the direction, volume, asset, price and total cost of the trade: 

Open orders and positions are displayed on the y-axis as unfilled red or green dots for orders and filled dots for open positions. Sells are red and buys are green (or the corresponding up/down candle colors, if you change your theme).

Clicking an unfilled dot will recall the order information to the trading form on the right, where you can review or replace the order:
