Withdrawal hold
Certain deposits, such as first time ACH purchases, credit or debit card purchases or digital wallet purchases will trigger a temporary (72 hour) withdrawal hold on the account, for security purposes.
Signature Bank is only available to clients who have a Pro business account on Kraken. If you do not have a Pro business account you can still fund your account with USD using our other cash funding options.
For eligible US clients, Signature Bank provides a faster way to deposit or withdraw funds. Domestic (US bank to US bank) transfers are processed via Fedwire and take 1-5 hours to process during US banking hours. Banking cutoff time is 3pm EST.
For eligible US clients:
- Your Kraken account must be verified as a Pro business account.
- Your bank/financial institution account must be under the same legal name as your Kraken account.
- Your Kraken account must be associated to a US (except Texas) address.
- Your bank or financial institution must be located in the United States.
For eligible International clients, Signature Bank provides an alternative to US-only USD funding options. International transfers are processed via SWIFT and may require more time to settle.
Requirements for eligible International clients:
- International clients can only send funds via SWIFT.
- Your Kraken account must be verified as a Pro business account.
- Your bank/financial institution account must be under the same legal name as your Kraken account.
- Residents of the following U.S. states and countries are not eligible to use this service:
