I can't unlock my account settings

If you enabled the Global Settings Lock to lock your account settings and set the unlock process to take more than '0' days, but didn't create a Master Key beforehand, you will need to request a settings unlock. To do so, log in to your Kraken account and click on the “Security” tab. Once there, click the "unlock your settings" link, as seen below.

After a settings unlock request is made, the number of days you chose for the unlock process to take when the Global Settings Lock was enabled will need to pass before the unlock will occur. Once you have waited the required amount of days and your account settings are unlocked, we highly recommend that you set up a Master Key on your account before enabling the GSL again.

If you enabled the Global Settings Lock and set the unlock process to take '0' days, but didn't create a Master Key, or have lost your Master Key beforehand, you will be unable to disable the Global Settings Lock. In this situation, the only way to unlock your account settings is to contact our Kraken Support team by clicking on "Submit a request" in the upper right-hand corner of this page.
