Nillion (NIL) Token Migration to Ethereum

Nillion ($NIL) migrated from Cosmos to Ethereum. The ticker remained NIL and all balances were converted at a rate of 1:1. This was performed automatically on Kraken. All NIL balances were converted to the new Ethereum-based NIL token. NIL on Cosmos is no longer supported on Kraken.

No action was required on the part of clients, as Kraken handled the migration automatically.

  • March 13, 2pm UTC: Deposits and withdrawals for NIL on Cosmos were paused
  • March 16 – March 20, 2pm UTC: Migration was performed on behalf of all clients during this period. Funding resumed for NIL on Ethereum once the migration was completed.
  • You didn’t need to take any action. Your NIL balance was automatically migrated to the new Ethereum-based NIL token at a 1:1 rate.
  • NIL deposits and withdrawals were paused starting March 13 at 2pm UTC.
  • NIL on Cosmos was no longer supported on Kraken after the migration was complete.
  • There was no change to your ledger balances. Your NIL balance remained the same.
  • Once migration was complete, your updated NIL balance appeared in your account and funding resumed on Ethereum.
