My Kraken Wallet has been compromised

If you believe someone has access to your wallet, disconnect the affected device from the internet and use a secure device to protect any remaining assets.

    Create a new wallet with a new recovery phrase on a secure device.

    Write down and secure the new recovery phrase.

  3. 3

    Transfer remaining assets from the affected wallet to the new wallet.

  4. 4

    Revoke suspicious token approvals and disconnect unknown dApps where possible.

    Stop using the compromised recovery phrase.

    Secure the email, Google, Apple, or passkey account used to sign in.

    Sign out of unknown sessions and change the account password where applicable.

    Export the embedded wallet's keys if you need to move assets to a new wallet.

    Transfer remaining assets and revoke suspicious approvals.

Onchain transactions cannot be reversed. Kraken cannot freeze a seed phrase wallet or retrieve assets sent to another address.
