How to deposit Mexican Peso

You can deposit Mexican Peso (MXN) to Kraken via Bank transfer (SPEI). However, MXN cannot be held in your Kraken account. Once deposited, your MXN will be automatically converted to US Dollars (USD).

Click the Deposit button on the homepage.

In the asset dropdown, select MXN.

MXN deposits are automatically converted to USD.
The deposit method will default to Bank Transfer. - 4
Enter your CURP or RFC, followed by your CLABE (bank account number).
Only deposit from a CLABE registered under your provided CURP/RFC.

Enter the amount you wish to deposit.

You can switch between MXN and USD using the currency toggle to see live conversion rates.

Click Generate bank details.

Copy the Kraken deposit details, then go to your banking app or wallet to complete the MXN transfer.
Make sure to complete the deposit within the 10-minute window.

That’s it! You’ll receive a notification confirming deposit success and USD amount deposited.

Open the Kraken app and tap Transfer, then Deposit.

Search for or select MXN. MXN deposits automatically convert to USD.

Tap I understand to continue.

Enter your CURP or RFC, followed by your CLABE.

Deposit only from accounts linked to your CURP/RFC.

Enter the amount you wish to deposit.

Copy the Kraken deposit details and complete the MXN transfer using your banking or wallet app.
Ensure the deposit is completed within 10 minutes.
