Kraken migrated from Energy Web Token (EWT) on the EWT Native Chain to the Ethereum network. The migration rate was 1:1.
The migration process was automatic and required no action from clients. EWT on the EWT Native Chain is no longer supported.
Timeline and Key Information
July 3, 2026 at 14:00 UTC: Funding EWT on EWT Chain (deposits & withdrawals) was paused. Trading remained open.
July 6 - July 10, 2026: Migration window. EWT was migrated to the Ethereum network. Deposits and withdrawals were re-enabled once the migration was complete.
EWT balances were automatically migrated, and no action was required. Trading remained available throughout the process and balances were not affected.
