Synchronizing modules on Kraken Desktop boards

Last updated: August 19, 2025

Kraken Desktop offers a powerful synchronization mode that allows you to synchronize similar modules within a board. When synchronization is enabled, any changes made to one module are mirrored across all similar modules inside the board. This is particularly useful for traders who want to maintain consistency across multiple charts or modules.

Module synchronization ensures that specific settings or actions applied to one module are automatically reflected in other similar modules. For instance, if you adjust the time frame on one chart, all other charts within the board will update to match. This feature streamlines the process of analyzing multiple markets or data points simultaneously.

  1. 1

Open the Board Management Panel: Click on the Board management button located at the top right corner of the Kraken Desktop application.

  2. 2

Activate Synchronization: Within the Board Management panel, look for the synchronization option near the top and check the box to enable it.

Imagine you have a board filled with several small Chart modules, each displaying different markets. By enabling synchronization, any adjustment, like changing the time frame or adding an indicator, on one chart will automatically apply to all others in the group.

This setup is ideal for traders who want to compare multiple markets side by side without manually adjusting each Chart.

  • Module Presets: After configuring a modules settings to your preference, you can save the settings as a preset. This allows for quick application of the same settings to new modules.

  • Resetting Modules: If you need to revert a module to its default settings, you can do so by accessing the module's settings and selecting the option to reset to default.
