Move from Legacy Kraken Wallet to Kraken Wallet

If Kraken Wallet detects data from the previous version of the app after an update, it guides you through a local migration.

Update and open Kraken Wallet on the device that contains your existing wallet.

Tap Continue on the migration screen.

Complete the biometric or password prompt if your previous wallet used one.

If you had multiple accounts, select the accounts you want to keep.

Review the migrated wallet and finish setup.

The migration moves your wallet keys and supported account information locally on your device. Balances, tokens, NFTs, and activity are refreshed from their networks after migration. The process does not send a transaction or move your funds.

Keep the app open until the migration completes. If it is interrupted, reopen Kraken Wallet to continue from the last completed step.
