What is Kraken Wallet?

Kraken Wallet is a mobile onchain wallet for supported assets, networks, dApps, swaps, DeFi opportunities, NFTs, and rewards.

Do I need a Kraken account?

No. You can create or import a seed phrase wallet without a Kraken account. An eligible Kraken account is required only for features that connect to Kraken, such as transferring supported assets from Kraken into the wallet.

What devices are supported?

Kraken Wallet supports compatible iOS and Android devices. The current iOS build requires iOS 16.4 or later. Device and regional availability can vary by app-store release.

Can Kraken recover my seed phrase wallet?

No. Restore it with the recovery phrase or a password-encrypted cloud backup. Kraken cannot recover either the phrase or the backup password.

Can I use more than one wallet?

Yes. Kraken Wallet can hold multiple self-custody recovery phrases, multiple accounts derived from each phrase, and optional embedded wallets.

Which networks are supported?

Kraken Wallet supports Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Solana, and supported EVM networks. Wallet type and feature availability can affect which networks are available.

Can I cancel a transaction?

Generally, no. An onchain transaction cannot be canceled or reversed after it is submitted. Always review the address, network, amount, and fee first.

Why is a token or position missing?

Confirm that the correct wallet and network are selected. Kraken Wallet displays supported tokens and catalog-supported DeFi positions; unsupported or unindexed assets may not appear.

Will Kraken Support ask for my recovery phrase?

No. Never share a recovery phrase, private key, cloud-backup password, or one-time code with anyone.
