Kraken Prop Lite Plan

Lite is a separate plan and does not replace Starter, Intermediate, or Advanced. It is listed only when the 50,000 USD wallet size is selected.

The Starter, Intermediate, and Advanced plans use a static drawdown measured from the starting balance, plus a daily loss limit. Lite uses a trailing max drawdown and has no daily loss limit. The trailing max drawdown is also called the trailing loss limit.

The limit is a fixed dollar amount.

• The limit is 1,500 USD. It does not grow with the account.
• The floor stays 1,500 USD below your account’s high point.
• Your account starts with a high point equal to your 50,000 USD starting balance, so the floor starts at 48,500 USD.

The high point is your highest closed balance.

• Only closed trades raise your high point. Unrealized profit on open positions does not.
• Losses, trading fees, and financing charges do not lower your high point. Payouts do.
• The floor does not stop rising. It continues to move up each time you set a new high point.

The floor is recalculated once a day at 00:30 UTC.

• A new closed-balance high is recorded immediately.
• The active floor only moves up to the new level at 00:30 UTC. It does not move in real time during the day. Until then, the previously active floor remains the boundary.

Open positions count against the floor.

• Your account is checked continuously against equity, which includes open profit and loss and charged costs.
• An account can reach the floor without any position being closed.

Payouts lower the floor. A payout reduces your balance, your recorded high point, and your active floor by the same dollar amount.

Lite offers up to 40x leverage on XYZ100 and SP500, up to 2,000,000 USD of notional exposure. Higher leverage increases gains and losses relative to your account value. With a 1,500 USD limit, a large position can reach the floor on a small price move.

Lite trades perpetual instruments in the Kraken Prop terminal. It does not trade futures contracts. To view the parameters for a market, right-click a symbol in the terminal and select Instrument info.

Trading fees on XYZ100 and SP500 are reduced on Lite. Crypto market fees are unchanged.

For example, on a 1,000,000 USD round trip in XYZ100 or SP500, total commission on Lite is 8 USD. At the crypto commission rate, the same round trip is 800 USD.

Financing applies to positions held open across the daily reset. There is no forced close of positions at the end of the day.

• The default profit split is 80/20.
• A 90/10 profit split is available as an add-on at purchase for 27.80 USD.
• The minimum payout is 50 USD.
• There is no payout buffer, no payout cap, no minimum trading days, and no consistency rule.

When you reach the 3,000 USD profit target, you can move to a funded account. Funded accounts require Verification.

The same 1,500 USD trailing max drawdown, the same leverage, and the same 50,000 USD size carry into the funded Lite account. There is no activation fee.

Lite is limited to 1,500 evaluations. When they are sold out, the plan is disabled and shows as Sold Out on the Kraken Prop page and in the purchase flow. If you are already in checkout when the last evaluation sells, you can still complete your purchase.

There is no guarantee that Lite will be offered again, and if it is, the terms may differ. For updates, check the Kraken Prop page and official Kraken channels.

1. Open Kraken Prop in Kraken Pro on web or mobile.

2. Under Choose your wallet size, select 50,000 USD.

3. In the Lite column, select Select.

4. Review the total, add the 90/10 profit split if you want it, and accept the required agreements.

5. Choose to pay with your USD Kraken balance or a credit card.

Paying with your Kraken balance requires Verification.

The standard Kraken Prop geo availability applies. If Kraken Prop is not available in your region, a “not available” banner appears on the Prop page. The existing 200,000 USD combined allocation cap across all Kraken Prop plans also applies to Lite.

No. Lite has no max daily loss. Its only loss rule is the 1,500 USD trailing max drawdown.

On other plans, the max drawdown is a fixed percentage measured from your starting balance. On Lite, the floor is 1,500 USD below your highest closed balance, so it moves up as you set new highs. The active floor updates once a day at 00:30 UTC.

No. Only closed trades raise your high point. Open profit and loss still counts toward your equity when your account is checked against the floor.

Yes. Your account is checked continuously against equity, which includes open profit and loss. If equity reaches the active floor, all positions are closed and the evaluation ends, even if your closed balance has not changed.

No. A breached evaluation cannot be reset. You need to purchase a new evaluation to try again, if Lite is still available.

No. Lite trades perpetual instruments in the Kraken Prop terminal. XYZ100 and SP500 are not futures contracts.

No. Lite is available for the 50,000 USD wallet size only.
