The Humanity team has deployed a new contract and issued a new token for $H (Humanity). This article explains what is changing for $H on Kraken, how the airdrop of the new token works, and the timelines for withdrawals and delisting.

What's happening

  • Legacy $H is being delisted. Trading and deposits are permanently disabled, and withdrawals are open.
  • The Humanity team has issued a new token. On Kraken, we have listed it under the ticker $HUMANITY to distinguish it from legacy $H. On-chain, and possibly on other platforms, the new token may still appear as $H.
  • If you held $H at the snapshot, you will receive a 1:1 airdrop of $HUMANITY.
  • $HUMANITY is also set for delisting. Only withdrawals will be supported.

The new token has a different contract from legacy $H. On Kraken, the two are shown under separate tickers so you can tell them apart.
