How to use the Markdown module

The Markdown module in Kraken Desktop allows you to conveniently add text, images, and links to your board. Markdown is a simple formatting language. Even if you've never used Markdown before, it’s easy to pick up and can significantly enhance your trading experience by clearly organizing notes, visual references, and helpful resources.

Kraken Desktop's Markdown module supports a range of formatting abilities:

Adding images to your Markdown module is quick:

Go to postimages.org.

Click Choose images or simply copy and paste your image onto the webpage.

Once uploaded, scroll down to the Markdown text.

Click the copy button next to the Markdown format (starting with

Paste the copied Markdown code into your Kraken Desktop Markdown module. Then click Confirm.

When you share a board that contains a Markdown module, the contents of your Markdown module will be included with the shared board.

You can save a Markdown module as a module preset, this way you can save Markdowns that you like and quickly switch between them. Click here for instructions on creating a module preset.
