Kraken is migrating from Energy Web Token (EWT) on the EWT Native chain to the Ethereum network. The migration rate is 1:1.

The migration process is automatic, and requires no action on your end. EWT on the EWT Native Chain will no longer be supported after the migration.

Timeline and Key Information

July 3rd, 2026 @ 14:00 UTC: Funding EWT on EWT Chain (deposits & withdrawals) will be paused. Trading remains open.
July 6th - July 10th, 2026: Migration window. EWT will be migrated to the Ethereum network. Deposits and withdrawals will be re-enabled once the migration is complete.

Your EWT balance will be automatically migrated, no action is required on your part. Trading will remain available throughout the process and your balance will not be affected.
