DEX Trading fees

When you trade onchain assets through DEX Trading on Kraken Pro, you pay a single, transparent fee. This article explains exactly what you'll be charged, and what you won't.

One flat fee per swap

Every DEX swap has a flat fee of 100 bps (1% of the trade). That's it: one fee, applied to every swap, deducted from your swap amount.

The fee is already factored into the quote you see before you confirm. There's no separate line item to add on afterward, and no hidden spread layered on top of the price. The number in your quote is the number you trade at.

No separate gas fees

Onchain trades normally require you to pay network gas fees and keep a balance of the chain's native token on hand. With DEX Trading on Kraken Pro, you don't.

Execution is gasless: you never need to top up gas or hold a separate token to cover network costs. Fees are deducted from your swap amount instead of paid separately in a native token.

No funding transfer fees

You fund your DEX wallet directly from your existing Kraken balance. Moving funds in this way carries zero transfer fees, so getting ready to trade doesn't cost you anything.
