Overview

Kraken will be migrating Centrifuge (CFG) to its new Ethereum-based token as part of an upgrade launched by the Centrifuge team. All existing CFG balances will be automatically converted to the new Ethereum-based CFG token.

September 29, 2025 at 14:00 UTC: CFG trading and funding paused.
•
All CFG balances will be migrated 1:1 to the new Ethereum-based CFG token.
•
Trading and funding for CFG will resume once migration is complete.

What this means to you

You don’t need to take any action. Your CFG balance will automatically be migrated to the new Ethereum-based CFG token.
•
CFG trading and funding will be paused starting September 29 at 14:00 UTC.
•
Once migration is complete, your updated CFG balance will appear in your account and trading/funding will resume.
