Kraken Wallet allows only one Secret Recovery Phrase (SRP) at this time. For a single SRP, you can create as many wallets (also known as "accounts") as you like. This article will explain what this means in further detail.

As a reminder, a Secret Recovery Phrase (also known as Seed Phrase) is the series of 12-24 words that represent the private keys to your wallet. Your Secret Recovery Phrase is like a master key that provides full access to your wallet(s), which is why it’s critical that you store it somewhere safe.

Yes! To create a new wallet:

    Open your Kraken Wallet app and tap the wallet switcher at the top of your screen.

    Then, tap the Create wallet button. Kraken Wallet allows you to create as many wallets (accounts) as you want.

    Each wallet will generate addresses for the networks Kraken Wallet supports. This means each wallet has 4 different addresses: Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin and Dogecoin.

    Import your SRP to Kraken Wallet. You will then see the first wallet that was created with your SRP.

    To import additional wallets, open your Kraken Wallet app and tap the wallet switcher at the top of the screen. Then, tap the Create wallet button.

    Repeat this process until you have finished importing all desired wallets.

Please be aware that your balance may not immediately appear. We recommend that you open each wallet after importing and allow a moment for your balance and assets to load.

There is no limit on the number of wallets that you can import, so long as those wallets are associated with the same SRP.
